My solution at least for the kernel, was to get the src.rpm from RedHat ftp://ftp.redhat.com/pub/redhat/linux/enterprise/5Server/en/os/SRPMS/kernel-2.6.18-238.5.1.el5.src.rpm and build the kernel myself. CentOS staff is working now hard full time for 5.6 release, so since January there has not been any update. Riccardo
