Hi I am trying to connect a reliance netconnect data card on my linux box ( cent os ) , i am able to the detect the device /dev/ttyUSB0 these are the following steps I did : Check your card is recognized by the kernel # cat /proc/bus/usb/devices ..... ..... Sorry, no modem was detected! Is it in use by another program? Did you configure it properly with setserial? Please read the FAQ at http://open.nit.ca/wvdial/ ::::::::::::::: when i try to run the wvdial command it give me a Modem not responding. -qa ~]# wvdial --> WvDial: Internet dialer version 1.54.0 --> Cannot get information for serial port. --> Initializing modem. --> Sending: ATZ --> Sending: ATQ0 --> Re-Sending: ATZ --> Modem not responding.
