[CentOS] CentOS 6 smb authentication?

Oops!  My apologies for the thread hijacking. Thanks for the reminder Phil.

I was mentally keyed to the samba issues and ignored the C6 and AD
issues.  In my case there is no AD domain involved and samba is
already at the 3x level.
