Dist-upgrade has broken more things, in my experience with several versions, than I care to detail. ---- it's an option, not a panacea and I'm quite sure that I have continually offered that type of an assessment. I think that it's reasonable to expect that some things will work better and some things worse when comparing CentOS (or RHEL or ???) with any other distribution. Craig
