Mark, what rpm provides i18npool.uno.so
via
 >yum whatprovides */i18npool.uno.so

this gives on my system
1:openoffice.org-core-3.2.1-19.6.el6_0.5.x86_64 : Core modules for
                                                 : OpenOffice.org
Repo        : base
Matched from:
Filename    : /usr/lib64/openoffice.org/basis3.2/program/i18npool.uno.so

then you can verify if this file matches that provided in the original .rpm

man rpm gives instruction.

Maybe you have multiple rpm that have such a file??
