If I lose my broadband connection here (Italy), and try to re-boot the computer (CentOS-6.2), the shutdown hangs at fail2ban. Normally there is no problem re-booting; it only happens if the network has gone down. It may just be an extraordinarily long timeout. Has anyone experienced this? And is there anything one can do about it? -- Timothy Murphy e-mail: gayleard /at/ eircom.net tel: +353-86-2336090, +353-1-2842366 s-mail: School of Mathematics, Trinity College Dublin
