All you need is a newer version of libstdc++.so.6 than what is delivered in previous 5 versions. I download and create an rpm package using the binary from mozilla and add this library to the firefox install directory (I use /usr/local/firefox). Runs fine on rhel5u4 and rhel5u7. A bit of a hack I know, but I have 100+ people that have been running firefox on redhat 5 this way since version 4 of firefox came out. -- > > Ljubomir Ljubojevic > (Love is in the Air) > PL Computers > Serbia, Europe > > Google is the Mother, Google is the Father, and traceroute is your > trusty Spiderman... > StarOS, Mikrotik and CentOS/RHEL/Linux consultant > _______________________________________________ > CentOS mailing list > CentOS at centos.org > http://lists.centos.org/mailman/listinfo/centos >
