[CentOS] NoMachine Player on Mac OSX 10.7 and strange characters

I discovered that this work-around resolves the problem for a given NX
session.  From inside a terminal session on the remote desktop issue
the following command:

setxkbmap -model evdev -layout us


Where >us< is whatever keyboard layout you wish to use.
