Since the release of windows 8 and 2012 (and even before) and UEFI, all new hardware are 64 bit capable, and even ARM will release a 64 bit version. Remember that in RHEL, 'E' is for Enterprise (and in CentOS, 'ent' means the same). That is, stability and maintennace on the long term are more important than recent desktop apps. Alain
