Serving multiple ssl certificates requires SNI on server and also
client support.

Biggest problem indeed with sni is that all intended clients must also support it...

You might consider using IPv6, and give each (virtual) http-server its own address.
That works very well indeed, but chat24 is that here also the clients must be able to connect over v6 ;-)
