For most projects the RedHat engineers know what they are doing and second-guessing that means you have to know more than they do. Many projects release stuff that just shouldn't be run in production - and RH generally backports important fixes (and CentOS inherits them) into the version they ship as long as they don't break the previously working behavior. -- Les Mikesell lesmikesell at gmail.com
