My corollary to Murphy's Law is functioning perfectly: After asking the question (which I've been vaguely wondering about for a few weeks), I figured out my error 2 minutes later. I was attempting to mount btrfs onto /home, which already had a filesystem mounted on it. Shouldn't have caused a panic. Anyway, nevermind. -- greg
