Hi Ned.,
What does rpm say? 'rpm -q --whatprovides /usr/lib64/libyaml-0.so.1'
This is what rpm reports back at that command:
[root at ops:~] #rpm -q --whatprovides /usr/lib64/libyaml-0.so.1
libyaml-0.1.2-3.el5.x86_64

And here is what rpm -qi tells me:
[root at ops:~] #rpm -qi libyaml-0.1.2-3.el5.x86_64

Summary : YAML 1.1 parser and emitter written in C
Description :
YAML is a data serialization format designed for human readability and
interaction with scripting languages. LibYAML is a YAML parser and
emitter written in C.
So thinking back it may have been a custom python repo that was used to
install that.
So I guess I can take it from here!
Thanks
Tim
