yum is still trying to connect via ipv6
(ip_resolve=4 in config file)

from man yum.conf:
              ip_resolve Determines how yum resolves host names.

              `4' or `IPv4': resolve to IPv4 addresses only.

              `6' or `IPv6': resolve to IPv6 addresses only.
