Its Possible, I did it on my machine You need to enable the nux-desktop repo, Then install yum install gstreamer gstreamer-plugins-base gstreamer-plugins-good gstreamer-plugins-bad-free you might also be asked to download another codec depending with the Player you are using, if you install VLC via yum as well it comes with its own codecs.
