Greetings, I've just upgrade a home server to CentOS 6.5 with a new dual-core processor and mobo. I see that with the CentOS 6.x release rp-pppoe can be run as a daemon. I've looked through some online one-page setup notes for rp-pppoe, but nowhere is there a discussion of running it as a daemon. Until now, I've cobbled an ifcfg-ppp0 file and placed it in /etc/sysconfig/network-scripts. The connection has worked; however, I'd like to have a proper and coherent implemention on this iteration. If anyone has experience or insight on this setup, I would appreciate it. Much thanks, Max Pyziur pyz at brama.com
