[CentOS] snmp hang reading sensors?

I have one machine (out of many with similar hardware) where snmp requests frequently time out and killing the snmpd process may take several minutes. The logs are full of entries like: ipmi_si ipmi_si.0: Error reading sensor 0. so I assume it is hanging trying to read some hardware sensor. Is there some way to make it skip that check so it won't hang? -- Les Mikesell lesmikesell at gmail.com
