Hey Hadi,

Instead of pushing the OS maybe you can start them out on some FLOSS
applications that fit well with their functions and uses. You haven't
told us much about the kind of work they do or the software they use to
do it.

LibreOffice, Firefox, and Thunderbird with the Lightening extension will
probably meet the productivity needs of most of your fellow office
workers. If they adopt the FLOSS applications then you have a much
greater chance of getting them to convert to any flavor of Linux.

If they use any type of specialized software then your chances of
finding support for those applications on Linux will be much slimmer.
For example, there is no direct replacement for Microsoft Access on
Linux. LibreOffice has Base but it's not Access compatible. You would
need to totally redesign and rebuild pretty much from scratch and still
not achieve duplicate functionality to the Access application you had
before. Same situation for Photoshop. Linux has The Gimp but it's not
a drop in replacement. CATIA and CADDS do not run on Linux and have no
real drop in replacement. AutoCad does not run on Linux but there are
2D design tools that *might* be capable enough to support your functions.
