[CentOS] Centos laptop support

On the HP laptop I mentioned earlier, I absolutely could not get C6.5 
live to boot (kernel panic).  But I was able to install C6.5 on it using 
the net install iso!  Not sure what is different with the two, but the 
machine ran C6.5 perfectly (except touchscreen, which I never attempted 
to research).
