Thank you very much, i got it now :-) i ve copied those command to enter the chroot environment: sudo setarch i386 /usr/sbin/chroot $CHROOT_DIR/ /bin/bash -l now i changed it to the right architecture and everything is good :-) thanks again for ur hint...
