Katello seems to be a web front end for Pulp (and the upstream for the new RH Satellite server). It seems to lack some of the power of using just Pulp. Do you have any directions on how to achieve what I want with Pulp? Its the underlying technology used in the next version of Red Hat Satellite, and it has the features you describe. >
