the SAS 6/iR is a LSI SAS 1068E chip, kind of an old chip (the 1068 
stuff was long ago replaced by 2008, 2308, and now 30xx stuff). The SAS 
6/iR Dell article I'm looking at is from May 2008.   There were no 3TB 
drives 7 years ago.
