The supported version of Cyrus IMAPd in CentOS6 is v2.3. If you found v2.4 someplace on the internet, they aren't CentOS packages, and I really doubt that they were intended for CentOS6 if they conflict with postfix. I suggest contacting whoever created those v2.4 packages and asking them about the conflict, or use the CentOS6 packages. You could also try backporting the CentOS7 packages to CentOS6, keeping in mind that it relies on systemd and not Upstart to start the service. -- Jonathan Billings <billings at negate.org>
