The updated/patched release of CentOS 5 is 5.11. also, EL 5 has a very short remaining life, its already off 'full support' as of Q1 2014, and in 'maintenance updates only', which will only last 2 more years (Q1 2017). Any new install now really should be CentOS 6 or 7.
