That was my home setup - hence taking the disk *into* work.  Amanda
scales well though, it was designed to handle a university's
(Maryland) network.  You ought to be good for several hundred machines!

BTW - "don't top post" goes back to newsgroups and text mode readers
of the 1990s.  Most most modern software naturally leads to top
posting which enables the reader to view replies in the preview screen
without the need to scroll down.  If a thread is bottom posting, I
bottom post.  If it's top posting I top post.  If I'm the first to
reply I choose.
