The first thing I would try is to get the SRPM for CentOS6, install it in CentOS7 and see if it will rebuild: rpmbuild -bb keychain.spec (or something like that). If not, then I would work on updating the SRPM so that it does build. That would be much more preferable than building directly from source outside of the package manager.
