That's exactly the same thing that "ls -l /proc/*/fd/* | grep '(deleted)'" will do. So how is lsof better, exactly? I know. I'm frustrated today. I spent the weekend dealing with people nit-picking. It's hard to exaggerate how much time and energy can be wasted by people insisting on meaningless changes.
