You want to: yum install iptables-services systemctl disable firewalld systemctl stop firewalld systemctl enable iptabpes systemctl enable ip6tables systemctl start iptables systemctl start ip6tables But unless you need some fancy stuff in the firewall, I would recommend to simply use firewalld and use the graphical firewall-config to manage it (or firewall-cmd if you do not have a graphical env.)
