While I haven't kept records of dates and times, I don't think it was at any specific time. I saw it 2 or 3 times previously, probably some Fedora version,... my tired old brain won't divulge that info right now. It seems reasonable that it's some kind of hardware issue but I don't see anything in the logs I've thought to check.
