Main diff between std-repo and docker-repo: std-repo: works. stable. not the newest, shiniest version, but one that works. docker-repo: works most of the time mostly, has sometimes a erratic or memory-eating behavior, the newest, most feature-rich, shiniest version, with all the bugs of new-new-new. It's a matter of choose your poision. If you are happy with the features of the std-repo version, imho stay with it. That's my exp. Yours may differ. Others should speak up, too, please. - Yamaban.
