I see this: $ curl http://mirrorlist.centos.org/ arch not specified Test that, and then use curl on some other url. "curl http://www.google.com/" maybe. This should establish whether or not you have general network connectivity. Either way, you'll probably want to talk to your network admins regarding the result.
