Don't want to mess up this particular machine. > This sounds like some kind of graphics card issue .. if you see any text that says 'booting CentOS' or a line at the bottom or the '7' grey boot screen, you are past the Grub2 stage. Are these machines running X windows and a Desktop Environment.
