Well, it was a couple of parameters. chroot_username had an undefined user, and there was something else that I can't seem to remember. Best practice is to setup the Explicit FTPS first, get it working then add: implicit_ssl=yes listen_port=990 Frank M. That might help others who encounter the same problems or help improve the documentation on the settings. Do you use etckeeper? It puts /etc under git revision control, so you easily check your configuration changes over time. It's pretty easy to set up. _______________________________________________ CentOS mailing list CentOS at centos.org https://urldefense.proofpoint.com/v2/url?u=https-3A__lists.centos.org_mailman_listinfo_centos&d=DwICAg&c=laxeQK7vPmHfouIIPNyCfbQd49eK3u00U8Jdo0RFvts&r=EOaM1MkMLG24_TOy4m7EdDoX0CP9-c0YJ2kTdeagcqQ&m=n4U3BLRxAReIESvD3-ihs3rvV3FdqqNBtckcNPfItvs&s=6B7q6ROfDelfi7FUTtVySNIDk9m3TFbEPyX3OyhGorE&e= ---------------------------------------------------------------------- This message contains information which is privileged and confidential and is solely for the use of the intended recipient.
