we have no problem with ether-wake under CentOS 7.6 . Has been working
for us as under earlier versions.

Years ago, we had to replace some RHEL-provided ethernet driver modules
with ElRepo-provided ones for WOL to work. So check out ElRepo for newer
drivers for your cards.
