[CentOS] printer only prints one page, if anything

Apparently both rpms are installed,
but even after restarting cups,
the printer just receives data and goes back to sleep.

I have no /etc/printcap.local or /etc/printcap .
/etc/cups/printers.conf does not contain the string lp .
It does have
DeviceURI usb://Brother/HL-L2360D%20series?serial=U63883B7N499687

Now what?
