Correct, but do note that epel has picked up where Red Hat has dropped the ball. Sendmail is available for el8 from epel. That said, there is nothing wrong with switching to postfix if that's what you want, postfix is an excellent MTA. It's just that if you want to continue with sendmail then epel provides a solution for you. Peter
