[FYI] GitHub connectivity issue

Hi, Just to let all Projects using CI that our monitoring complained a lot about "flapping" connectivity to some external nodes, including github.com. After some investigations, it seems that there are some peering issues (or routing) at Level3, but errors come and go. We can't do anything but report internally and see if then error can be reported "upstream" at the link provider level. Minishift nightly builds are failing

other hardware outage for nodes behind ci.centos.org

Hi guys, While investigating the hardware issue we had on one Seamicro chassis in the last days (see previous thread), we lost another one (completely at this point) during the night, so I have disabled all those ones too. (so that means 64 bare-metal nodes less in the pool) I'll create ticket with DC to see if that's possible to investigate the issue, and I'll keep the list informed about the status. Cannot get duffy nodes

Saferestart as soon as jobs finish

Hi Folks, We upgraded some plugins yesterday for security purposes in ci.centos.org, and it appears that one of the unaffected plugins (gerrit-trigger) did not get reloaded properly. There will be a saferestart as soon as jobs finish to try and reload the missing configuration. Jobs in the queue *should* get automatically scheduled when jenkins comes back. Update PostBuildScript jenkins plugin to versions 2.x

Hi, would it be possible to update jenkins plugin PostBuildScript to 2.x version in CentOS CI jenkins? PostBuildScript 2.x changed incompatibly configuration format. We are using jenkins-job-builder to interact with jenkins. And versions newer than 2.0.2 requires new PostBuildScript plugin on server. So we are stuck with older jenkins-job-builder version and it cause us troubles when interacting with CentOS CI. Thanks, Marek

Status of ci.centos.org?

Today, we are experiencing some network failures in our jobs running on ci.centos.org infra and now our jobs even fail to obtain duffy node (examples: [1], [2]). Is there any expected outage, or ci.centos.org is just so unstable? CI jobs failing because of Epel metalink issues

Some people reported in #centos-devel that their CI jobs were failing (example https://ci.centos.org/job/minishift-addons-nightly-b2d/49/console) because of yum errors. As you can see it was happening when using EPEL repository. We have confirmation that EPEL infrastructure had an issue with corrupted repodata everywhere, so it hurted us too. While it was fixed upstream, it can take time for the corrected repodata to be replicated everywhere, and I switched the EPEL mirror we're syncing/pulling from to fix that earlier (the previous mirror we used was still bad) This should fix your EPEL yum errors for now in CI.centos.org -- Fabian Arrotin The CentOS Project | https://www.centos.org gpg key: 56BEC54E | twitter: @arrfab
