Bom dia João..
A versão do CentOS é a 6.5 Esta configuração que me passou é padrão, foi a primeira tentada e ela só funciona se o cabo de rede estiver conectado no momento do boot! Eu preciso é que, uma vez o cabo de rede conectado, em qualquer momento, o serviço de rede solicite o IP via Dhcp. Como citando antes, instalando o NetworkManager, funciona bem, mas minha intenção era descobrir como se faz isso sem o NM instalado!

Realmente o dhclient não tá rodando! Com o comando ps axu | grep dhclient não é encontrado nenhum processo! Mas tem o detalhe de que o IP é solicitado no boot, vejo que no boot, o sistema para por alguns segundo solicitando IP e depois segue! Procurando o nome do serviço para ativá-lo não consegui encontrar! Dhclient não é, sabem me dizer qual é?
