alguem esta com problemas para atualizar via YUM ? vários mirros populares (centos.pop.com.br por exemplo) não possuem as atualizações do centos 5.5 !!

Que loucura, deve ser um bug no hardware.. servidor demora 15 minutos para bootar.. depois da um erro "disabling irq #201"
e no dmesg gera um "trace" ...
nunca vi isto :P
ativei o centos plus e instalei o kernel dele.. vou ver se resolve alguma coisa !

Mas foi do nada? Tenta bootar com um kernel anterior. Se bootar de algum jeito testa o hd com o comando badblocks -v /dev/sdx. Se não conseguir baixa um cd de emergência tipo esse: http://www.sysresccd.org
Aí você pode testar de tudo com ele. Testa também a memória.

este servidor é de um cliente, estou remoto nele..
pelo que vi aqui é algo relacionado com o som, agendei um reparo amanha, acessar a bios de desativar o som !!
nao sei o porque disto, primeira vez que acontece algo bizarro assim..

Eu também tive problemas com o mirror centos.pop.com.br ontem...
Não tinha todas as ISOs....estava somente a 1, 2 e 7....aí qdo eu terminei de baixar a 1 apareceu a 3....eu achei que fosse alguma limitação de banda ou algo do tipo.. porém quando terminou a 2 e a 7 não apareceu mais nenhum iso...
hoje está tudo lá....
