INSTALLING CENTOS SPARC

I'm trying to install CentOS SPARC on a Netra T1, but it boots from disk and i want to know how to enter the bios and set up that boots from cdrom. The other problem i have is that when the Netra T1 is booting it gets stuck when makes a NIS request, and says "Time out for NIS to come up". I know this problem doesn't have relation with CentOS but if somebody has installed CentOS SPARC on a Netra T1 before, i'd appreciate the help. --------------------------------- Relax. Yahoo! VNC into active session

Hi all, Can I VNC into an active session? I mean user can see what we do in their screen. Right now the /etc/sysconfig/vncservers is: VNCSERVERS="2:userku" VNCSERVERARGS[2]="-geometry 800x600" I have vncpasswd for userku and restart vncserver. Then, can I vnc from another pc into the active session on the userku PC? Samba doesn't mapping groups

Hi, I was trying to setting a user with administrative access using the net groupmap add command and mapping the Domain Admins group for a local group with the users I want. After this using the command net user "username" /domain in a winxp machine the Domain Admins group doesn't appear in the list of groups of this user, only the Domain Users group. What could be? SERVER DOWN, boots to "GRUB"

All that's seen on the screen is the four letters ''GRUB". I'm assuming that grub needs to be reloaded into HDD master boot record. (?!) What's the easiest way to do this? Iptables hangs at shutdown

Hi all- I have a Centos 3.6 server in production that hadn't been rebooted in quite some time. I was finally onsite today and took the chance to reboot into the most current kernel, but the box hung while "stopping iptables". Some Googling led me to one or two reports of systems hanging while the iptables initscript unloaded the modules. Has anyone else encountered this? I haven't seen anything in the archives to suggest this is a widespread (or even known) problem. Because this locks the system where I can't perform any other activities, it's near impossible to troubleshoot. anyone know where to get heartbeat 2.0.4 rpm for Centos/RH? Ultramonkey used to had rpm for all new versions but last is 2.0.2, and linux-ha rpm are for SuSE.
