Channel Bonding issue in Cluster Suite Setup

Dear All, I have configured RHEL Cluster Suite with 2 servers Server 1 : 192.168.13.110 IP Address and hostname is primary Server 2 : 192.168.13.179 IP Address and hostname is secondary Floating : 192.168.13.83 IP Address (Assumed by currently active server) In am followed the RHEL Cluster Suite Configuration document "rh-cs-en-4.pdf" and I have configured Ethernet Channel Bonding in Each Cluster Nodes Channel Bonding Configuration Details are 1) Created bonding devices in "/etc/modprobe.conf" file alias bond0 bonding options bonding miimon=100 mode=1 2) Edit the "/etc/sysconfig/network-scripts/ifcfg-eth0 and ifcfg-eth1" configuration DEVICE=eth0 USERCTL= no ONBOOT=yes MASTER=bond0 SLAVE=yes BOOTPROTO=none DEVICE=eth1 USERCTL= no ONBOOT=yes MASTER=bond0 SLAVE=yes BOOTPROTO=none 3) Created a network script for the bonding device is "/etc/sysconfig/network-scripts/ifcfg-bond0" DEVICE=bond0 USERCTL=no ONBOOT=yes NETMASK=255.255.255.0 GATEWAY=192.168.13.1 IPADDR=192.168.13.110 4) Reboot the system for the changes to take effect. After i am rebooted both the server then cluster node becomes simplex and Services are started on both the nodes The cluster output in primary node Member Status: Quorate Member Name Status ----------- ------- --------- primary Online, Local, rgmanager secondary Offline Service Name Owner (Last) State --------- -------- ----------------- -------- Service primary started The cluster output in secondary node Member Status: Quorate Member Name Status ----------- ------- --------- primary Offline secondary Online, Local, rgmanager Service Name Owner (Last) State --------- -------- ----------------- -------- Service secondary started Before Ethernet Channel Bonding cluster services are active in one node and other nodes acts as passive node and member status is Online for both the nodes But after Ethernet Channel Bonding cluster services are active on both the nodes and member status is current node is Online and other node is Offline We are not sure why this is happening. Natulius CD burner does not accept my 700Mb CD-R disks

When I try to burn anything to cd, I get a message to insert a CD large enough for my file (normally an ISO image). Doesn't matter if the iso image is a 600Mb Centos ISO or a 48Mb DSL ISO. Same warning. My CD-Rs are Memorex 700MB/80min 52x disks that work just fine on XP systems. So what am I missing configuration-wise?

Nothing. I move the cd (oh and this is one taken from my disk supply last summer) and put it into the IDE cdrom reader and that little icon came up on the top system tray in Gnome telling me that I might want to mount the cdrom by left clicking on the icon. Once mounted, I get a CD icon on the desktop and this lets me open nautilus to the CD. And nothing like this happened with the external CDRW drive. Opening a terminal window and issuing mount, I see the /dev/hdc is on /media/060622_2133 type iso9660 Now lets test all this on the external again... so I insert the CD and again the light is flashing red. mkdir /media/cdrw mount -t iso9660 /dev/scd0 /media/cdrw and get the response: mount: No medium found I am going to dig out my portable CDRW from my notebook backpack (for my real work notebook that I am typing from now, not my 'corp' notebook!).

system hibernating?

I'm in the process of setting up a new system and I have found that the system is hibernating when its sitting idle for a long period of time. How do I stop this? TIA, Jeff

problems building appletalk module with new kernel

Prelink: Something's happening here

Can anybody explain to me what's going on here? This is a CentOS 4 i386 system. Or, another way, why was the file different in the first place, that running prelink against it fixed it? And if "undoing" the prelink changed something, why wasn't it "changed back" when I ran prelink against the sqlite3 file the second time? Finding this confusing as H__L. I have *alot* of files on this system with this issue - I discovered this while debugging a problem with MailScanner. And, why do I see similar behavior on another system that's freshly built?
