2 nics, 2 networks, 2 switches

Hi Everyone, I have a server with two NICs. One NIC is already configured for network A, but the second is disabled at the moment. I want to enable it too, but put it on network B. Unfortunately, I don't know how to do that. Well, what I've tried hasn't worked anyway. Each NIC is plugged into a separate switch, and each network has it's own gateway. But, I can only set one default gateway. What parameters do I need to use in the NIC config file to force NIC 1 to use gateway 1, and NIC 2 to use gateway 2? I tried using "GATEWAY=blah" in each config file (ifcfg-eth0 and ifcfg-eth1), but it didn't work. I'm over looking something. Problems building LPRng src RPM

Setting up RAID using mdadm on a proliant DL320 G4

Hi, I have a new server HP proliant DL320 G4, with two 160 GB SATA hdds.. I have installed CentOS 4.5 with mdadm without any problem, but when I disconnect one disk the server does not boot or I received a kernel panic when booting... I have disabled the SATA embeded raid (BIOS) and nothing.. I've also download the driver from HP site HP (Embedded SATA RAID Controller Driver Diskette for Red Hat Enterprise Linux 4 (x86)). and nothing it does not recognize the driver from HP... does anybody knows how to setup a software linux RAID on a proliant DL320 G4? thanks in advance regards, Israel

Centos 5 Xen Problem

Hi , I am using Centos 5 for virtualization , i have installed Centos 5 as Host OS and trying install Centos 5 as a guest OS but system is stuck at final screen Starting Install process. This may take saveral minutes...... and its not doing anything else after that i am waiting for at leat 30-40 minutes. Kernel and Hardware details are as follows: Kernel Linux xen 2.6.18-8.el5xen #1 SMP Thu Mar 15 21:02:53 EDT 2007 i686 i686 i386 GNU/Linux Hardware: CPU : Intel(R) Pentium(R) 4 CPU 2.50GHz Flags: fpu tsc msr pae mce cx8 apic mtrr mca cmov pat pse36 clflush dts acpi mmx fxsr sse sse2 ss ht tm pbe up cid xtpr Memory: 1GB so what is wrong can any one tell me . Server Virtualization

Hello, I work for a school in a New Zealand university and we are wanting to implement Server Virtualization for both CentOS and Windows systems. So I thought I would ask here what experience people have had with this and what issues that you all think should be considered? From my own research it seems that VMWare or Xen are really the two major products to be considered, are there any others I should be considering ? Is anyone running Linux "Guest" O/S's inside a Windows host ?? And if so can you share your reasons for this? Anyway thank you for your time and any experiences / knowledge you are willing to share :)

CentOS 4.5: Print on custom paper size?

I'd like to print on an index card. My printer (an HP LaserJet 2100) supports it, but I can't figure out how to get a 3x5 inch option in CentOS's "Printer Properties" dialog.
