Postfix question: How to reject email with a certain subject header

Hello everyone, Occasionally I get emails which have a subject header of "Rejected posting to Blah", from a listserv I am on. Without going into a 10 page diatribe of why, I'd like to reject these automatically, sending them to /dev/null. I used to run Sendmail and that was pretty easy to do. How can I do this under Postfix under CentOS 5.3? Any help is appreciated. Thanks! usb issue on my motherboard

I have found this http://bugzilla.kernel.org/show_bug.cgi?id=10913 I am running that motherboard with 2.6.18-128.1.10 x86_64 and I have the USB issues. I dont really want to use a later kernel for a couple reasons one being the ATI Catalyst drivers dont work on later kernels (I tried on another machine). Is there a way to take 2.6.30 (just since its the current version)usb/host directory and compile it as a module for the 2.6.18-128.1.10 kernel and just replace the ehci_hcd driver? I extraced the 2.6.30 kernel, and was hoping to just cd drivers/usb/host and make. It says no tarkets found. How can I do that? THanks, I just want to compile the module. Jerry

More then one version of KDE

Time to sync (NOT a complaint)

Is anyone else seeing this situation? I subscribe to the announce digest, and for the last four or five announcements that contained updates to CentOS 5, I've been unable to get a successful run of yum update for as much as 24 hours after the announcement. The last time around, I tried at about 5 hours after the posting, and yum couldn't see anything. I ran yum clean all, and yum update still couldn't see anything. In general, if I wait a day, the updates load just fine, but that just feels wrong. I do have the fastestmirror plugin installed (and priorities). Thanks. mhr

One of my servers crashed, need help

Hello all, I just installed a new beta kernel from Dzickus over at redhat. Rebooting causes this, no matter what kernel I boot from: EXT3-fs error: device dm-0: ext3_check_descriptors: Block bitmap for group 5008 not in group (block 167772160)! EXT3-fs: group dexcriptors corrupted! Mount: error mounting /dev/root on /sysroot as ext3: Invalid argument Setuproot: /moving /dev failed: no such file or directory And a bunch of other mounting errors. OK, so, I have a Centos 5.2 install disk, but what can I do to get everything back? Any help greatly appreciated. Thanks! Which external WiFi device for laptop running CentOS 5.3?

Have decided to give up on the embedded Broadcom 4312 wireless device in my son's Dell laptop. I get WEP open authentication to work, but nothing else. I was about to dump the bcm43xx kernel module and the bcm43xx-microcode5.fw firmware and work with the newer b43 module and associated firmware. However, he claims that at school, he has always had intermittent problems with wireless under Vista and wants an external device (USB or PCMCIA). So...if you had a clean slate, which make & model would you buy for mindlessly easy installation and use under CentOS 5.3? Dave

Odd module mentioned during update of kernel-PAE

However, it _is_ installed on a machine that this one acts as an NFS server for (or will do, if I ever get round to finishing the build). yum update bug with disk requirement calculation?

I just updated my machine from CentOS 5.2 to 5.3 and noticed an oddity. The update required around 280Mb of disk space. I had over 500Mb of free space on root. And... the update failed with "need more space" errors. Now I can understand this; normally it would fetch the files from a http server, so the worst-case requirements are double (or more) than the download size reported by yum. EXCEPT these files were being served from an NFS server, and so were never copied local to the machine. Eventually I manually installed a few smaller packages and managed to get the space test passed. During the transaction I monitored free disk space in another window, and it never went below 300Mb free. Bizarre. -- rgds Stephen

CentOS comes with all of the platform components you might need for running such an app, but the app itself is not there. nate
