TLSv1.2 support for lftp on CentOS 6.x

Hello everybody, I am writing on that mailing list because I have an issue using lftp and I would love to have more infos about features available on the LFTP version provided by CentOS 6. I try to connect to a ftp server in secured mode using FTPS explicit and I would love to use TLSv1.2. After several tries, I understood that the TLS negociation was not possible using TLSv1.2 (It works only with TLSv1.1) but my issue is I don't understand why : - The GNU TLS Library provided by CentOS is TLSv1.2 compliant. I can use gnutls-cli in order to make a TLSv1.2 connection - It also works pefectly with an openssl client, so it's not a server side issue. - I don't see anything in the lftp changelog or features list saying that lftp is not compliant with TLSv1.2. So my question is : Can lftp provided by CentOS (of course last version in the 6.x branch), do TLSv1.2 connection ? If it is not possible, I can deal with it but I'm curious to know if it is a feature or a bug. Indeed if it's a bug it could be interesting to submit an issue for a potential resolution. ElasticSearch Logrotate not working

Hey guys, I have this log rotation script setup in my /etc/logrotate.d folder /var/log/elasticsearch/*.log { daily rotate 100 size 50M copytruncate compress delaycompress missingok notifempty create 644 elasticsearch elasticsearch } And I notice that log files are still being generated that are upwards of 7 or 8 GBs. Can anyone point out to me where the script is going wrong, and why log files for ES are growing so incredibly big? I would think that having that logrotate script in place should solve that problem. CentOS-Vault missing CentOS 6.7

Hey all, I needed to pull some rpms from the CentOS 6.7 vault for compatibility testing. I noticed that 6.7 wasn't in the Vault repo file yet, but that the repos exist. I was just wondering what the ETA is for the Vault repo file to be updated with 6.7. Thanks, Will

Hi, folks, Got a question: I's swear that I just started seeing rkhunter complaining about ports 110, 143, and 995 only a few weeks, maybe as much as a month ago. (It's been way low on my priority list to solve.) Anyway, with my manager urging us about it, I looked, and found that portreserve was holding them. Here's the thing - I have *not* been seeing this for years. *Did* this suddenly become automatically turned on with 6.8? Otherwise, I'm not sure why it was running. mark

VLC and playing .mkv files with opus audio

Hi list, I use VLC from nux-dextop as my default player. Recently began using youtube-dl and it grabs the video and audio just fine and produces .mkv files. I can play the resulting file just fine with Enqueue in SMPlayer, GXine, SMPlayer and Videos - VLC unfortunately says 'VLC could not decode the format "Opus"' Yet my google search indicates this issue was solved many releases ago - 2.0.4 and CentOS 7 is at version 2.2.2-4.el7 Anyone else have this problem and/or ideas on how to get it going?
