With the Evolution MUA, also using IMAP on gmail.com the mbox files are easily seen. in .evolution I suspect that I should post on a Thunderbird mailing list and ask where the mbox files are located on my Desktop, or, if using IMAP, as I am, there are no mbox files on my Desktop. Probably it's one or the other.

That is, you can access a device present at start up but it's not swappable. Given: [dave@bend ~]# lsusb Bus 001 Device 002: ID 154b:0005 PNY Bus 001 Device 001: ID 0000:0000 Bus 002 Device 001: ID 0000:0000 you can attach the device to a W2K qemu session by starting qemu with something like: qemu -usb -usbdevice tablet -hda w2k.img -usbdevice host:001.002 -m 256 -localtime & I tried swapping two different 1GB thumb drives and the content of the drive wasn't visible after the swap. If you decide to go the qemu route for a VM with W2K, I wrote about the problems I ran into on my blog at: http://davenjudy.org/wordpress/?p=29 Getting a basic W2K VM working was fairly easy but getting it fully updated was a real pain. swap memory crash

Dear all, I am getting below syslog error on my oracle database server running on RHEL4U5. During this time my swap shows zero on both available and free in the top command output , result in total system hang. can any one guide me how to fix this issue of memory and exactly what this error indicates?? VMWare Server doesn't like new CentOS installation?

I just got a nice, shiny new machine at work, a Core 2 Duo, on which I just finished installing CentOS 5.2 with a fair number of packages, SeaMonkey 1.1.10, Adobe Reader 8.0, Adobe Flash 9.0, mplayer, mplayerplug-in (both from rpmforge), and I think that was it. Then I went and got the latest VMWare Server, 1.0.7, from VMWare, pulled down their rpm, installed it, and ran vmware-config.pl, which is what I have to do (at home) after every new kernel install, too. Except, this time it failed: Extracting the sources of the vmnet module. Building the vmnet module. My new h/w: Intel Core 2 Duo E6750 2.66GHz, 2GB 667MHz DDR2 RAM, 160GB hard drive, nvidia ge7300fs video card, not sure what mobo, but I can't help but wonder if that has anything to do with it (does it???). Running CentOS 5.2 32-bit with all the latest updates. Anyone know anything about this? I asked in the VMWare forums, but haven't got an answer yet (in fact, I rarely get answers there...). upstream ipa on centos inside openvz container

Hi, I'm trying to install rh ipa server on centos 5.2. i downloaded the srpms and built them on centos 5.2. they installed perfectly (via yum localinstall to handle the dependencies). While going through the ipa-server-install script, while starting, ns-slapd seg faults. i did some digging and when i turned on debugging for ns-slapd, here is what i found out: [04/Sep/2008:09:32:16 -0700] - dse_read_one_file processing entry "cn=config" in file /etc/dirsrv/slapd-MYDOMAIN-COM/dse.ldif (primary file) Segmentation fault This is all going on inside a centos host node running openvz and a centos 5.2 container. Does anybody have some exp. with ipa? i'm a bit lost here. I'm installing it in the first place to have a unified directory for the users/emails/permissions. pxe menu help

I am trying to setup a series of vmware esx 3i systems to be provisioned by pxe. Since you can pass the extracted config to the hypervisor in the pxe append line as a file on the tftp server, I presume I can use my CentOS DHCP/PXE server to hand out assigned ip's to specific hosts. Thus, I need a way to force each host to load a specific menu choice (with its own config) when starting. So instead of leaving it to default routines which can change or may be unpredictable, how does one force the mappings of menu assignments when clients connect or at least set it in a reliable manner I can document?
