have anybody already heard about Xgl? Do you know if there are rpm's for it?

Yes.

Yes. But not for CentOS, as Xorg is to old. CentOS 5 will have AIGLX and compiz. At least the rhelv5 beta has it.

I'll try compiling it by hand to see if it work .... if so, i'll send to the list a mini howto for xgl ;-)
