Hi,
I've just installed CentOS 5.0 on my father's laptop, in replacement of Windows XP. Everything runs fine, except I can't seem to print from Firefox.
So far, I can print a test page from the CUPS interface (as root). As user, printing works fine from applications such as GEdit or OpenOffice.org Writer. But I can't print anything from Firefox.
Any suggestions?

Do you have cups installed and setup? Does printing work from anything else or is the problem just firefox?

Can you maybe print to file (Is the "Print" dialog showing up at all)? If you can print to a postscript file, you can print it using lp afterwards...

Some configuration errors on my behalf. Forgot to install the hpijs drivers, and I configured two (?) printers (one with the gimp-print driver).
But with a clear head today, I reconfigured everything properly, set the printer as default, and now every app prints fine.

give some deatils:
is Firefox from CentOS repo or CD? did you download Firefox from mozilla.com?
type "firefox" in terminal and check what it says after "File | Print"
is "printed" web page in quene? you can check that on http://localhost:631/
