Forums would be a great thing. There are many things on this list which I wish I wasnt getting emailed about or that are OT.
Speaking of e-mail I wish I wasn't getting...please fix your mail agent to send proper text-only (i.e., not HTML) e-mail.
Thanks, Michael
what about a wiki site? http://wiki.org

Shouldnt documentation be the realm of the website?
Or perhaps docs ascend to the website after being accepted on the forums.
J. Newbigin - thx for tips, still working on it :)

There are no plans for a wiki on the main caos foundation site.
Kyle (/nick kylev) has however offered to put one of these up for the Foundation, and the projects in it. I will let him respond with more information (if he is listening)...

if you have php and mysql hosted, installing phpbb and phpwiki are very simple. It is a matter of minutes! I did try a phpBB install, it's cooool!
by the way, is it possible to tweak the mailing list so that the From: points to the mailing list instead of the author? Regards Sophana

If you are going to install phpBB you should consider the "phpBB 2 - Plus Version" that can be downloaded from http://www.phpbb2.de. It is based on the latest version of phpBB (2.0.10) and it has a lot of cool extra features like Portal, Calendar, Polls, and more.
I have just installed a test here http://forum.guilds.dk and it is very easy to install, and the users who have a phpBB on my server have asked to have their forum upgraded to this version ( not quite as easy as described but I made it work :)
just a suggestion
