You will get excellent help from the squirrelmail mailing list, especially if you do not top-post.

The CentOS rpm should contain an /etc/httpd/conf.d/squirrelmail.conf file that makes the Squirrelmail alias http://myserver/squirrelmail. What page (or error) do you get when you try that? Have you restarted httpd since you installed the SM rpm?

No it doesn't - it makes http://myserver/webmail an alias to /usr/share/squirrelmail. Hence http://myserver/webmail is the correct URL to use.
Make sure that httpd is actually running (or has been restarted) and that /usr/share/squirrelmail is readable by user apache.
Mike.

ACK! Thanks, that was actually the correction I was trying to send, but it must have got mudged between my brain and my fingers.

Oops, dovecot is installed be default, I was trying to use cyrus. Seems to work so far now :)
Is working now..
The problem was the name of my server in httpd.conf, I change it and restart httpd and I access http:/myserver.mydomain/webmail
Thanks to every one.

Squirrelmail works well with Cyrus on CentOS 4, too :)
Not for me, I kep getting permission denied and other messages while creating INBOX and other default folders. Seems everytime I fixed one error, I would get a new one. I gave up after about 4 hours. Dovecot is working now with no effort ;)

Ah, yes, you need
altnamespace: yes unixhierarchysep: yes
in /etc/imapd.conf for Cyrus and Squirrelmail to work together. But dovecot is good, too...
Mike.
