I tested moving a box from Tao 1.0 to CentOS 3.7. All went well, as far as I can tell, with the OS upgrades, but I needed to rpm -ivh --force the desktop-* stuff. This was a minor thing to fix for no real purpose other than to just be doing it.
I still get, though, the Tao screens when the graphic login screen appears. I have changed the Application->Settings->Login Screen-> Graphical to Blue Curve. Is there a set of artwork rpms I need or something? I cant't remember, but I think there is something on the original grub splash, also, after rebooting.
Not a big deal, but would just like to see if I can tidy this up a bit.
Thanks

I think you need the redhat-logos rpm ... this one contains the /boot/grub/splash.xpm.gz and the BlueCurve theme for gdm ...

Thanks, that did it. I guess the redhat- part threw me.
